From the president

Welcome to the wonderful neighborhood governed proudly by the Parkwood Drive Civic Club (PDCC)!  Since the late 1930s, the PDCC has been active in advancing the civic development of the community, maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the community, promoting the safety of its members, and establishing member communion.

PDCC is a wonderful, historic Houston community in Riverside Terrace and we want to share it with you. We are a short distance from the Texas Southern University, University of Houston, the world renowned Houston Medical Center, downtown Houston, Miller Outdoor Theatre, the Houston Zoo, the Museum District, and Hermann Park.  We are close to the heartbeat of Houston, yet we have maintained our quietly beautiful neighborhood. This website is another milestone for PDCC, one that we know will help to continue the great tradition of our community.

If you reside or own property within PDCC boundaries, we encourage you to become involved as a dues paying member for $50 annually. To improve our community and ensure that we provide services and value, members are encouraged to attend PDCC activities and donate time on projects or committees. Want to help with the semi-annual picnic?  Know how to help with finance?  What to determine how to make our area even more beautiful?  Like publicizing events?  Simply want to know what is going on in the area?  We hope that you will join us at whatever level you can. When we all take responsibility for our community, the community becomes a better place to live.
